The OVMS v3 server (MQTT)
There is a lot of different information online about how to send a command to the OVMS and get it to do something or at least generate a response (much of it is very old). But I have not been able to get anything to work.
I get metrics from the OVMS, but as far as sending commands I am stuck.
My car is a nissan leaf 2012 SV
OVMS box firmware 3.3.005-3-g4f3f7688/ota_1/main (build idf v3.3.4-851-gfa4f07fb3b Sep 7 2025 08:02:51) using dexters-web.de.

The moment you've been waiting for is finally here - the (soon to be official?) OVMS Home Assistant integration through HACS!
Many of you have been requesting this for ages, and it was one of the first things I checked when I became a new OVMS owner. Sure, you could always set up your own configuration.yaml manually, but why do that tedious work when we have technology to automate things for us?
