OVMS on (yet) unsupported vehicles

Hi everyone,

I am new to OVMS and thinking about buying the hardware module to experiment with its features. My current EV (Honda e) is not yet supported. I have read that unsupported vehicles do still get some basic features like reading the SOH and/or SOC via OBD2. Is this true in my case?

MG ZS Excite EV OVMS Module fails to display SOC beyond 98%

Hi everyone

I recently installed the OVMS module in MG ZS Excite EV of my girlfriend. It seems to not properly detect a state of full charge. I have tried to adjust it to show this by going in the features section and enabling the "full charge fix", however to no avail. I am still stuck on 98% while the MG reports a full charge.

Has anyone got an idea how to fix this.

Automatic retry of cellular connection

In the past few months, I've had the OVMS drop it's cellular connection twice. It's status will still say "RegisteredHome", but no PPP session.

There are no issues with the SIM, and when manually connecting to the module through wifi and turning the modem off and on again using the buttons on the Status page, it immidiately reconnects and establishes a PPP session. But that doesn't happen automatically, which is an issue.

ABRP SSL error

Stopped getting data to ABRP app so updated the the trustedca certs as per https://github.com/iternio/ovms-link/blob/dev/trustedca/README.md

now i get the ssl error
