I have a 2019 Hyundai Kona Electric and I'm considering installing OVMS to add remote functions through 4G.
My question is very specific:
Is it possible with OVMS to remotely turn on the air conditioning or the heating on the Kona while I’m at home (using mobile data / 4G), similar to what Bluelink would do?
I’d also like to know if OVMS can stop or manage the charging remotely.
I’ve been reading different sources but I still don’t know whether the 2019 Kona Electric is supported for these features or if there are technical limitations.
If anyone has OVMS installed on this model, could you please confirm?

Looking at the Documentation page and the code base, noone has implemented the Vehicle handling code for a Hyundai Kona yet. There are implementations for Hyundai Ioniq, Kia Soul and Kia Niro. The documentation for those suggests that Remote Charge and Heater Control are unimplemented so far (note that documentation may not be updated to reflect the code base). Kia Soul EV — Open Vehicles documentation . However, while on the surface it appears noone has made an implementation for Kona, you should read these posts and perhaps ask these users who note using OVMS with Kona 2019: Hyundai Kona | Open Vehicles . But maybe with those other 3 examples it would be easy enough to clone/craft a Kona implementation? BTW, I have no Kia or Hyndai so couldn't really give a definitive answer. Also, maybe someone is working on this but hasn't checked in any code yet...
