There is no specific factory reset function for v2, but you can use the pickit tools to erase the EEPROM area (which contains the configuration). You shouldn't need to adjust the firmware (program) memory. See the idleloop document above for some screenshots of that.
The only other way I can think of is to use a serial laptop connection, put it into setup diagnostics mode, then issue the commands to set parameters / features. Some info on that is available here:

Sorry I can't be of more help, but that module was discontinued so long ago.
I think only by erasing all the configuration settings manually.
Okay thanks, do you know how to do this? or if there is a guide to do this?

The OVMS docs list "factory reset" options here (https://docs.openvehicles.com/en/latest/userguide/factory.html?highlight=reboot)
There is a switch on the module motherboard you can use to cause a hardware reset.
Thanks, I wasn't sure this was for the v2 module as well but i'll give it a try
I did try the switch, followed the instructions and held it for 10 secs, didnt work, tried 20 and 30 secs to, still didnt work
If there is a specific way to factory reset the v2 Module, I would love to know what that is
You can find the old v2 manuals here:
and the firmware upgrade guide for v2 here:

Thanks, I appreciate that im dealing with old tech, so I'm grateful for any support, I decided to go with the pickit 2 and try that way
I'll let you know how it goes
Forgot to report back but the pickit v2 did the trick
