OVMS is a great project, and I'm very happy that it is still evolving.
As I have OVMS 3 with an old 3G GSM modem, I'd like to upgrade, but unfortunately the 4G modem in the Open Energy Monitor shop is out of stock: https://shop.openenergymonitor.com/ovms-4g-modem-upgrade/
Do you have any information if this is a temporary state? Or has the 4G modem been permanently discontinued and will no longer be available in the shop?"

The modem is still generally available and no plans to discontinue anytime soon.
I suggest you follow up directly with openenergymonitor to ask when they will get more stock.
