Have you already bought it, how's the AMI going, is it more comfortable than the Twizy?
I'm waiting for it to arrive, first impressions?

I have ordered it, but I had a test drive. I owned a Twizy and the ami is way more comfortable than twizy. A little noisy (but also twizy was), but it has real doors, widows and also some storage space.

It only miss OVMS integration. I hope someone would add it. When it willa arrive I would try to figure out how to...

Actually is missing of technical specs (mainly fo the controller).

Hi. I am new to the site. I was wondering if there is any information available on changing the speed of the Ami? Any help would be very much appreciated.

News?

No news about technical specifications for engine controller. Is there anyone who can have access to maintenance manuals?

The thread has been quiet for a long time.... Has there been any success in regards to the AMI?

SOme info gathered

As stated here: https://youtu.be/QlcylDQEWmo

Valeo is the producer of motor and inverter. The software controlling the whole is in the inverter but has some protections avoiding hacking of parameters (i guess they are crypted in some way). BUT in that video Valeo shows an AMI under Sterodis with 16HP and 80KM/h with only software tuning (activable/deactivable by a switch as shown at the very beginning). So is technically and practically possible to have an hack working.

great information, thanks, so

great information, thanks, so do we have any hope of leaving our Twizy?
My daughter disagrees, she finds Twizy much more beautiful,
however the Ami is closed and it is much better.
Hopefully someone can figure out how to increase the speed, then I'll take care of increasing the batteries to 10 kWh

AMI Racing Mode

I only just came across the great Valeo video mentioned above (I guess I was not monitoring this thread), and was interested to hear that the AMI is belt driven.  I had no idea. The motor has a very 'direct' feel when driving. Also on a rare occasion I have noticed a strange abrupt/jjerky/umpy creep, which I would not associate with a belt 'feel'. Perhaps if I actually had used the jack and jack stands that I bought I might have noticed this.... smiley.

I was also interested to hear that the "racing mode' was achieved with the exact same hardware and only involved a software tune. I honestly dont want the speed boost, but the increased HP would come in very handy. I have several fairly steep hills near me which I avoid because I dont want to stress the motor too much. The AMI makes the climbs but I tend to baby the motor so as not to overheat it.

Oh I really could use those extra HP. I have to find a way in.....
