Can someone tell me whether the module also works for the e-Soul III, built in 2021? It shares the base with the Kia Niro.
Unfortunately, ours is without "Kia Connect" and I'm looking for a solution on how to get to the SOC live. We charge our two EVs with excess PV using a solution that I think is very good, evcc (also opeb soure). evcc has an integration with ovms.

The norwegian goverment have introduced a power peak fee. That means if my hot water heater is turning on, and some oven is also on, I need to reduce my charging power, and restart it later. This is working very good at the moment.
But OVMS cant handle it! When I stop the charging (its controlled from the charging box), ovms reports charging finished, even at 35% SOC. When I 1-2 hours later restart the charging it reports on the event topic 'charging.done' and 'charging.preparing', but still the charging topic and so on are still reporting off.

I just recently acquired an OVMS module and installed it on my Kia Soul EV (2017), 30KWh version.
Yesterday I charged the car for the first time after installing OVMS module. The module was reporting the car charing state as "stopped" when in fact it was being charged.
This morning, after waking up, I could see it was indicating that the state was now charging and after a while it changed to "topping off", once it got near to 100%.

Is there support for the new shape 2020 soul which has the app as standard? Is there any point in having OVMS connected on this car?
